Intro to Acrobatics
3-5 year olds
Offers our youngest students an introduction to the fun of acrobatic exercises! Students are taught beginning tumbling and balance skills.
6-8 year olds OR 9 years old & up
Students are taught beginning tumbling, hand balancing, back bending variations and basic partnering skills. This class places emphasis on skill technique, body control, flexibility, muscle strength and spatial awareness. Skills with props are introduced.
Students are taught intermediate tumbling, hand balancing, back bending variations and complex partnering skills. This class will place emphasis on skill technique, body control, intermediate flexibility skills, muscle control and spatial awareness. Increased concentration on acrobatic skills with the use of props. Required pre-requisites are promotion from Acrobatics I and teacher approval.
Acrobatics III and IV
These levels offer a continuation of the earlier levels of Acrobatics adding more advanced skills. Students at these levels are focusing on more challenging balance and partnering exercises.
Toddler ‘n Me Movement
18-36 month olds with their parent or caregiver
This is a movement class where parents can spend time with their toddler as they explore a dance class for the first time. We offer a caring, supportive and fun environment for parents to connect with their tots and to other parents. As the program progresses through the school year, the children become more independent. By the end of the year most are ready to move in to a program where their caregiver is not present.
Various ages with their parent or caregiver
This class is for young children with their caregiver. Each session is approx. 8 weeks. Families use an At-Home-Materials-Kit. We also include Kindermusik ABC Music and Me in our Little Arts School House.
Adults of all ages and Teens
